Financial Sustainability contributed to reinstating my business and completing the education of my children

Shenazben Ismaeelbhai Ganchi Vora, an embroidery artist by profession lives with her family (husband, son and daughter) in Mafatyapura, Dholka – Ahmedabad. Shenazben. Three years back Shenazben’s husband’s auto was damaged and needed to be repaired, which means a huge investment for her, because of the financial crisis she was unable to repair the same and was afraid of taking a loan from local lenders on a high rate of interest. During that time she was the only earning member of the family. That was the time when Shenazben came to know about Saath Mahila Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd and became a member of the Cooperative. Shenazben took a loan of Rs. 10000/- from the cooperative which she used for repairing her husband’s Auto Rickshaw. And thus financial responsibility of the family was shared by Shenazben and her husband. Now Shenazben wanted to do something for her own and her children especially her daughter who was studying in class 10. Thus she applied for another loan of Rs. 40,000/- which she utilized for expanding her business. Presently Shenazben’s monthly income is Rs. 10000/- and improving my financial condition.
